A few miles outside of New York City in Montclair New Jersey you will find this family owned home-based business. Johnny's, like most great companies, started as a passion with his wife Tricia at the helm dabbling with making Cheesecakes around Christmas holidays for family, friends, for special events and the occasional requests.
It was In the midst of preparing for one of these occasions that Baldwin, wanting to help his wife, learned how to make cheesecake.
Tricia showed him what to do so he could assist in lightening her load and it was at that point he became hooked. After Baldwin made a few cheesecakes on his own he found himself experimenting with new ideas, by this time, Tricia realized it was time to hand over the cheesecake making reigns to her husband. As what was a hobby for her had become her husband's passion.
Baldwin’s passion and creativity for making these Cheesecakes grew and continues to grow with Tricia his greatest fan beside him.
In the fall of 2016, Baldwin started sharing these delectable delights with family and friends. The response was and continues to be magnificent and for that, he feels truly grateful and blessed.

Wanting his company to be a true reflection of his heritage, Baldwin’s creation mimics names of traditional foods and landmarks Jamaicans and many visitors to the Island have come to know, such as, Dragon Stout Cheesecake, Strawberry Hill Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake, Rum and Raisin Cheesecake, One Love Cheesecake, The Green Grotto Pistachio Cheesecake, Jamaican Blue Mountain Cheesecake, Monkey Pineapple Cheesecake, Black River Cheesecake, and the creations just keep unfolding. Each with its own taste of Jamaica
Recently, the company had the honor of serving some of its delights at the annual Griffins Awards April 2017, hosted by the Jamaica College Old Boys Association of New York, under the Jamaica Bickle's Team at the annual Penn Relay in Philadelphia 2017 and Art Explosion in Virginia 2017.
The company is now working on its next step, which is to open its first retail store location in New Jersey.
